What is the Disney College Program?
The Disney College Program is a paid internship in either Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort.
Where do you live?
Disney has four apartment complexes specifically for the college program participants that are on Disney property.
How can I apply?
First you have to figure out which season you want to do the program in. Spring = January-May; Spring Advantage = January-August; Fall Advantage = May/June - January; Fall = August/September - January. Applications for Spring and SA go live in September and apps for Fall and FA go live in February. There's multiple steps to the application. First, fill out the actual application on www.disneycollegeprogram.com (this is like a normal job application). If you pass this, you'll receive an email asking you to complete a WBI (web-based interview). Fill out the questions HONESTLY. This is like a personality test. After finishing the WBI, it automatically tells you if you've passed or not. If you have passed you will be sent an email asking you to schedule a phone interview. You then pick one of the times offered and your phone interview will be that day. You'll receive your decision within 2-3 weeks after your phone interview.
What do they ask you on the phone interview?
Every interview is different as there are many interviewers. The question that is always asked is why you want to work for Disney. Be 100% honest with your interviewer with all questions. I don't remember much more than that.
Can I get all my family/friends in the parks for free?
Yes and no. If you're placed at WDW, you are allowed six passes, each pass lets in three people. If you only let two people in per day, that other pass is lost. If you're in DL, you get 16 of these passes I believe.
Where will I be working?
You do not find out where you will be working (or living) until your check-in day.
How do I get to work?
You are allowed to bring a car with you, however, there are free cast member buses that will take you to and from work.
